How long does it take to digest a vegan diet?

I know that a vegan diet is probably the easiest to digest, but exactly how long does it usually take?

    Depends on how much fiber you eat.

    no, its meat. I read that around 1822 a guy was shot in the stomach and survived with a hole in the stomach. doctor william beaumont saw that meat digested faster than leafy veggies. how long it actually takes for fruits, nuts or grains, I really wouldnt know.

    It depends on how much you eat and the food u choose with nutrients content.
    Well for me I know i’ll get hungry at the right time for every meal.

    It depends on a few things…
    * your own metabolism
    * the type of foods you typically eat…it’s easy to be vegan & still eat a lot of junk. Obviously, fresh whole foods will digest faster than say cookies, white bread, overly processed soy cheese, and such things. And if you eat a lot of fiber, things will pass through your system much faster.
    * how active you are. Usually, people who are more active overall tend to have a higher metabolism.
    * If you use any kind of drugs (even over the counter stuff). Caffeine has been known to speed up the digestive process, while alcohol & some other drugs can slow it down.

    Personally, if I’ve been eating pretty healthily, I’ll usually be either farting or pooping out my last meal no later than 4-8 hours after eating it.
