The Kind diet-what are the different stages you go through when becoming a vegan?

The different steps someone goes through when changing into a vegan are explained in Alicia Silverstones book called “The Kind Diet”. Do you know what these are and if so would you explain them to me?

    step 1: eat meat/milk/and other animal-based foods

    step 2: don’t eat meat/milk/and other animal-based foods

    that’s as easy as it gets… any sort of fancy special steps and diets are more of a scam to make money with another book.

    Um., if you have the book, why don’t you just read it to find the answer for yourself.If you don’t, try Google. I found this in about 12 seconds by searching:

    “The Kind Diet is broken into three different levels so that you can progress at a pace that works for you. The three levels are flirts, vegans and superheroes. At the flirt level, you slowly begin replacing some meats with plant-based foods and start to see immediate benefits. At the vegan level, you are completely off all animal products, but still use meat substitutes along with grains, fruits and vegetables. The final superhero stage is built on the foundation of whole grains and vegetables.”

    Also, in the description of the book (again, found online):
    “Alicia knows that changing life-long dietary habits is a process, and that each person progresses at a different pace. For that reason, The Kind Diet encompasses 3 separate levels, from Flirting to Superhero. Flirts learn to dip a toe into the vegan pool, reducing their meat-eating and swapping out a few key foods for plant-based substitutes to see quickly how even small changes can reap big results. Vegans get to experience the life-altering effects of forgoing animal-products entirely, while still enjoying many convenience foods and meat substitutes in addition to the wonderful grains, vegetables and fruits that form the core of that diet. True enlightenment comes with the Superhero program, based on the principles of macrobiotics and built on a foundation of whole grains, vegetables, and other yummy foods that Alicia describes in detail.”

    Meat-eater -> pescetarian -> lacto-ovo vegetarian -> lacto-vegetarian -> vegan

    First cut out meat, eating only seafood. Then cut out fish and become a vegetarian. Then cut out egg products. Then finally, cut out dairy.
