Marshmallows, fruit snacks, anything colored red, energy drinks, the gelatin Popsicles, anything baked, most gummy things, I can’t remember what else, well dairy products…

You can have marshmallow creme though.

Watch out for carmine in red-coloured foods.

Many beers and wines are not vegan since they are clarified with geletin, milk, egg products, dried blood, and isinglass (fish guts). A lot of refined sugars (and thus any product made with refined sugar) use bone charcoal to make them super white. Some cereals have D3 vitamin added to them which is animal derived, also, most cereals with almonds or raisins contain animal based glycerin. Most potato chips have whey in them,
Anything at a restaurant which is not specifically advertised as vegan probably contains some animal product, even if doesn’t sound like it. i.e. soups are often made with animal stock, or thickened with a roux or cream, simple syrups, desserts, sauces etc… are made using bone charcoal refined sugar, salad dressings are often emulsified with egg, lots of veggies are cooked in butter or animal fat, sauces are made with non-vegan wine, etc…

You know if your just starting out, don’t over whelm yourself, start with the basics, eat grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes.Don’t buy packaged food that contains all those greek words that we don’t understand, because then your going to start to label bound yourself. If you have a Save-on-Foods grocery store where you are they have a huge selection of vegan foods.Amy’s soups, chili, baked beans, vegan cheese, vegan margarine.Health food stores.Just remember not eating meat, dairy and eggs are helping a lot as it is,the label learning will come in time, don’t stress.Best advice I can give you is keep doing
your research.I’ve been a vegan for a while now and I still look for information that I may have missed or new info.that has just come out.
Your doing great,it will get easier :)

The others are right but forgot about ketchup (natural flavorings are beef biproducts), Sugar (it’s filtered through charred animal bones) and fast food fries (usually cooked in lard)

However, one of the people above is absolutely correct. start with the basics. not meat or dairy, no honey and don’t wear leather. Then once you get used to that, start purifying other parts of your diet. It’s okay to do it one thing at a time.
